We chose Kati’s restaurant for our first night’s dinner in Koh Chang based on its positive reviews and the cooking school they offer, which we plan to attend later on. We were not disappointed! The food was of excellent quality and absolutely delicious. My personal favorite was the fried chicken with crispy shredded lemongrass—it was unique and incredibly tasty. I can’t wait to ask the owner how they prepare the lemongrass that way! We also tried the fish in tamarind sauce and the hot basil beef, both of which were fantastic.While prices are a bit higher than in other places, the quality of the food more than justifies it. The staff were friendly and efficient, though only the main waitress spoke English. All in all, a wonderful experience, and we’re definitely looking forward to coming back!

There is no way around Kati‘s culinary when you stay in Koh Chang. Absolutely amazing food cooked with a lot of love and knowledge. All the curries are the best I ever tasted. I went straight away to the cooking school the next day.

We were at Kati‘s at least 5 times during our stay. The food is great, the service super friendly and quick, and the home made coconut ice cream is to die for.The atmosphere is also very cosy - and it feels very clean (European kind of clean).They also have very good options for kids like plain spaghetti or potato puree (parents of picky eaters will understand )Our absolute recommendation.

Fantastic foodBy far the best meal that I had in Thailand.Delicate and inspired cooking. Innovative, some dishes are unique to this restaurant.Try the Chicken with fried lemon grass. Worth a "détour" just for that.Nice atmosphere.Indoor/outdoor seating with nice ceiling fans.Clean Toilet.Visible kitchen (from the side)A little pricey by Thai standards...but well worth it.

As a local Thai, I highly recommend this place. The food is homemade, and you can truly feel the care put into each dish. The flavors are well-balanced—neither bland nor overly intense—making it enjoyable for both locals and foreigners. The authenticity of the recipes shines through, and the owner's energy is absolutely wonderful!

Good, authentic food. Will definitely be back again for more! Highly recommend the panang curry, Tom kha, chicken tempura, spring rolls, beer, and banana lassi. Food is made fresh and is super delicious.
